George Stien joined Corre at inception in 2009 and has over two decades of investment experience. George focuses on the power, energy, aviation, building products and gaming sectors intersects with a deep background in restructuring, both in-court and out-of-court, having served on numerous formal and informal lender groups over the last decade. Prior to joining Corre, George was a Vice President at BNP Paribas in the equity derivatives division where he helped to develop and implement diverse investment strategies focused on capital structure arbitrage, fundamental analysis and event-driven catalysts. Additionally, he advised investment funds on the area of quantitative volatility trading and associated structured products. Prior to BNP, George served in a similar role at UBS. George holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.
